I had a customer ask me if I could make the chameleon from Disney’s Tangled. Well one of my dear friends and designer Sarah Horrocks came up with the pattern. You can find it here http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/chameleon-sidekick I was so excited to get him finished!! He will be going to his new home later on today 🙂 If you would like to order one for your self or a Tiny smile in your life just send me a message to info@tinystylesfortinysmiles.ca

I had a bit of an issue with yarn yardage (according to the pattern I only needed two balls of yarn and I really needed three!) but once I found a third ball of yarn I was good to go and got these beauties all finished off!! They will be on the way to their new owner this evening!! If you would like to own a pair just send me a message and would be glad to help you out!

Autism Scarf

A customer asked me if I could make her a scarf with the puzzle pieces signifying Autism awareness, of course I jumped at the chance to work this wonderful piece! I love the finished product too 🙂 I think I might be making myself one to sport this coming winter! I started making this with not a whole lot of knowledge about Autism. Naturally I had to do some research to find out more. The info out there on this is simply amazing. The people that are affected with Autism are just amazing! It doesn’t matter if you are young or old.

Quilting all day long

When I found out one of my really good friends was having her first baby I had to get busy working on a special gift! I know that this friend of mine loves homemade so I went searching for just the right pattern (which is really hard to do when you don’t know if you are working for a baby boy or girl by the way!). I found about 15 blankets I wanted to work up! The only problem I was having was that nothing was special enough for what I had in mind. So I went and picked up a pencil and tried to draw a picture (which I really can’t do LOL) and I just picked out the colors I wanted to use instead! Then I went to get the material and started cutting out the squares for this beauty of a blanket! I pulled out the sewing machine because I knew I didn’t have enough time to hand sew it together! I set to work and got it all together just in time, and Mommy to be just loved it 🙂Image
